May 02, 2008 10:20AM -  City Council has implemented a Rental Property Registration program establishing procedures for locating and communicating with rental property owners.

City/County Cooperation Results In New Station
May 02, 2008 10:06AM -  A new substation, to be shared by the City and County, was scheduled to be dedicated on Tuesday, April 29 with praise for the level of local government cooperation that saved money while bringing more services to the public. The public safety substation on Citadel Drive in College Acres will house City fire and police protection as well as Aiken County Emergency Medical Service staffing and ambulance service.

Hopelands Welcomes the Savannah River Winds
May 15, 2008 11:20AM -  The Hopelands Summer Concert Series will continue this Monday, May 19 with a performance from the Savannah River Winds (SRW). The performance will take place on the Roland H. Windham Performing Arts Stage at Hopelands and will begin at 7 p.m., lasting approximately an hour. This performance is presented by Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
