Lifeguard (Temporary)
Closes: Until filled : These temporary positions will be responsible for life guarding at the City's pool. This position requires being available seven days a week. Applicants must have current American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification and must be First Aid and CPRPR/AED certified (provide copies of current cards with application). Water Safety Instructor (Temporary)

Facilities Assistant (PT) Skate Park
Closes: 5/24/2012 : The Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for a part-time Facilities Assistant position for the Aiken Skate Park on a year-round basis. Major duties include: prepare, monitor and secure the facilities for activities and enforce safety rules and regulations. Additional duties include: assisting customers at the Weeks Center front desk as needed. Qualifications: Must have HS diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license. Good communication and customer service skills are a must. Hours vary and may include morning, evening and/or weekend shifts. Salary is $8.44 hourly with no benefits. Closes: 5/22/2012 : The City of Aiken Public Services Department is accepting applications for Vehicle Operator in the Solid Waste Division. Major duties include: operate a rear load garbage truck and haul yard trash or residential garbage; perform lead worker duties on routes; clean and maintain vehicle; complete appropriate paperwork, and other related work.
