Aiken County Library

I want to acknowledge and award this library with 5 out of 5 stars as being the perfect library. It is perfect. I am 64 years old and raised in the Air Force. Every time we moved my father taught me to establish credit by borrowing $100.00 from the local bank and paying it back. My mother taught me to get a library card.

I have 24 American library cards and three foreign cards. My experience has been that a library represents the heart and mind of the community. This library has unalterably demonstrated a compassionate and consistent nature . I say consistently as I spend at least 40 hours a week there looking for a job and escaping through books. I have never had a bad experience or been treated with anything other than respect.

I spend at least 40 hours a week at this library at which I use the internet to look for work and complete online courses as well as catch up on my television shows. During these times, starting three months ago, I continue to be impressed by the professionalism, extent of experience and knowledge as well as the sincere concern for each and every patron.

Thank you so much and you do not know what great things you guys do. I feel at home each time I walk into the library and each time I leave. If it were not for the warning announcements I would stay forever. If there is well being in stability and unfaltering graciousness it is at this library you will find it. Thank you for being the perfect library.
